FAQs
What ages are welcome?
Mini + Me is designed to grow with you and your little one. Parents are welcome to join once they have been cleared to return to exercise, typically around six weeks postpartum, and children are generally welcome through approximately age 10.
Each event and venue is a little different, so always check the individual event listing for specific age recommendations.
Do I need Pilates experience?
Not at all. Beginners are always welcome. Sam offers options throughout class so you can choose what feels appropriate for your body and experience level.
Can I come while pregnant?
Many Mini + Me classes are pregnancy-friendly. Please check your specific event listing and consult your healthcare provider regarding exercise during pregnancy.
What if my baby cries?
Then your baby cries. Truly.
You are welcome to pause, feed, cuddle, change, walk around or do whatever your little one needs. There is no expectation that babies or children stay quiet during class.
What if my toddler won’t stay on the mat?
They don’t have to. Mini + Me is designed with real children in mind. Depending on the venue, little ones may play nearby, explore the designated space or move between you and the play area.
Parents and caregivers remain responsible for supervising their children throughout the event.
Can I baby-wear during class?
Yes, when appropriate. Baby-wearing options may be incorporated into select movements. Please bring a properly fitted, secure carrier that is appropriate for you and your child.
Can I bring more than one child?
Usually, yes, but additional children may require an additional ticket because venue capacities are based on the total number of people in the space. Check your event listing or contact us before booking.
